My first 'Hallo'

Hello...to no one...yet!

So this is me writing the firts few words of my first blog. Totally without any experience with blogs and with no preconceptions or celebrity intentions. Who knows, one day my millionth subscriber might be reading this and laughing at the irony of it. It can also be me, still my only reader, reading this for the millionth time and facepalming myself. Wichever way it goes, I will write.

So let me tell you about myself first (you can just scroll down over this if it bores your eyes out of their sockets),

At the moment writing this I am 19 years of age, soon to be 20. I am an average guy trying to live the life of a person not so average, like so many of us. I fell in love with the arts, drama mostly, from the first moment I back-chatted my Gr 0 teacher and the laughing of the class filled my little haert. I landed in front of the principle ofcourse, but my future was set anyway. I knew then just as I know now that I would spend my life entertaining people, be it through making them laugh, making them leak from the eyes or by forcing them to read my mostly ridiculous stories. So here I am, studing Dramatic Art and loving every, tiring, frustrating moment of it (this point my peers will understand).

Now that that is out of the way let me say what I am aiming to do with this blog,

To share my experiences in my life of typing, lights, cameras and the stage. To offer reviews on books, theatre productions and anything else I can get my hands on. To post some of my stories and writing for the world (my mom) to read and lastly to ENTERTAIN anyone taking the time to read it. Thank you by the way if you're reading this.

This is me writing the last few words of my first post.

Sincerely,
The first time blogger.

By the way, leave me comments, if you're there, about suggestions or if I made an idiot speling mistake. You can tell me to shut the f#*$ up too. Just what you like.

  1. Tiaan, people don't realise the hard work you have put into your dreams. But I can definitely testify to all the hours you have spent practicing and preparing. Keep up the hard work and I am confident you will reach your million goal sooner than you think.
